In an effort
to provide additional services to our customers and to people residing in the
Tri-Valley area, Electrical District No. 2 has formed a subsidiary to provide
several types of contracting services. The name of the subsidiary is Tri-Cor,
Inc.
Tri-Cor serves
as a vehicle to allow Electrical District No. 2 to enter into new businesses
that traditionally have not been provided by electric utilities. The first
outgrowth of this is a division of Tri-Cor called ED2 Contracting Services. The
name of ED2 Contracting Services has been subsequently renamed to Tri-Cor
Air-Conditioning and Heating. This group provides air conditioning and heating
service and sales. Earnings from these business activities provides income to
Electrical District No. 2 and helps to keep our rates as low as possible.
To accompany
the air conditioning and heating sales, an attractive financing program has been
obtained through American General (available for Trane products only).
Tri-Cor
performs service on most makes, including Trane, Goodman, Coleman, Rheem and
many others. Our labor is warranted for 90 days to ensure customer
satisfaction. Free estimates on new installations.
